CHIRALAYAM SREERAMA SWAMI KSHETRA SAMRAKSHANA SAMITHI


The chiralayam temple is situated 1 km away from kunnamkulam town , thrissur district and 8 km far from "Guruvayoor temple" . 

"Sree Ramachandra" (lord vishnu's 8th avathar) along with goddess "Seetha devi" (wife of lord Rama) after their pattabhishekam accompanied by Lakshmanan , Bharathan , Shathrugnan , parasara muni and Hanuman are the main deities in this temple . This ancient temple which has about 1000 year's history has a speciality that visiting this temple is equivalent to "naalambaladarshan". According to the history the Raja of chiralayam and his family were the one's who were looking after the temple since the beginning.

At present the day to day pooja activities of the temple is managed by the local committee and the current generation of the Raja's family with the support from the devotees , as an organizing committee who are responsible for the day to day pooja and temple administrative activities.
